Delano represented the Olympic development program first team in 2006, 2007, and 2008. Besides being a standout on the soccer field Delano is also an excellent track star – being the indoor 55 meters champion and the 100 meters Western Mass Outdoor champion.

Mark Ellis football director for IASA indicated that Delano represents the type of quality that is attracted to The International Academic and Soccer Academy. He stated, “ We are finding that the program is attracting student players from the US who are seeking a real opportunity to improve their game on a year basis. Delano represents the type of player we are attracting and he is coming with a lot of potential – our job is turn this potential into a opportunity for him”.
